Triathletes are a rare breed that are misunderstood by most people outside the community. If you’re one of them, you've been called crazy or told you have a few screws loose, RIGHT? Well… I’m right there with you. If you’re not a triathlete, please read on because although this is where this starts the journey goes well beyond!

As a former collegiate soccer player I always knew I had a few screws loose and after I “retired" I needed the next thing… the next challenge.. the next obstacle… the next hurdle. What I found was running, and more specifically, I found marathons. After a couple years and 5 marathons later, I found myself in triathlon Mecca, Sunny San Diego, California. As a PT student I thought that I wanted to work with runners or soccer players but when I met and got to work with a few triathletes I knew I had found “my people.”
