"I started working with T-Zero Physio in the summer of 2018 because I was training for a half Ironman and couldn't run more than 2 miles without pain. They helped me get back to enjoying running and I got through IM Waco 70.3 without any pain. Now I'm training for my first Ironman and am so excited!"
"I can't thank T-Zero Physio enough! I did my 1st Sprint Tri in 2016. The swim took me 30 mins to get through & the panic in open water was high! In 2017 I began training for my 1st 70.3 and started having IT band issues. Started working with T-Zero to get rid of those and on open water swimming. (I honestly did NOT think i could mentally do 1.2 mi swim. Kevin was patient and really encouraged me, I got through my 70.3 (time 59 mins) & was able to get past the "panic" somewhat... 2018's swim was a whole new game!!! I ACTUALLY had fun swimming, ZERO panic. (Completed the 1.2mi swim in 38mins) Lookout 2019!!! Its gonna be awesome!!!"

Hi there! I am a coach, trainer, and mental health counseling in Denver, Colorado. I pursued a degree in counseling after working as a goal coach in the Houston area. I found that I needed more tools to communicate effectively with my clients and I felt that a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling was exactly what I needed. I am also a Certified Coach through XPT (Extreme Performance Training) and NASM; this training allows me to do group fitness classes and personal training out of Awaken Gym in Denver. Through my work in mental health and XPT I facilitate breath work sessions for individuals and groups. By teaching individuals about optimal breathing patterns and mindfulness I am able to help my clients get the most out of their training. I love working with my clients in person but I am happy to engage in coaching remotely as well.

She incorporates nutrition programming into her coaching in order to help you heal faster from injuries, recover faster from your training sessions, and overall perform better.

She does her best to keep you active in the things you are able to do, modifying as necessary, but not taking you completely away from your training.
Running history: She ran cross country and track in high school and one year in college before transitioning to half marathons and marathons. She has run 5 half marathons and 3 full marathons. She has also been on teams for both the Ragnar road series and the Ragnar trail series.
Passionate about empowering women through all of life’s transitions, Dr. Julia Smeltz began her journey as a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist immediately out of the womb (seriously!). Growing up in rural Central Pennsylvania, Julia’s mother owned and operated the only physical therapy clinic for miles around. Julia grew up in the clinic cleaning tables, answering phones, and slowly beginning to realize a dream to pursue the profession herself. She now holds dual licensure as a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Licensed Physical Therapist with an extensive background in sports/orthopedics and pelvic floor physical therapy. As a firm believer in the power of holistic healing and wellness, Julia is currently completing a 200 hour certification track to become a registered yoga instructor and incorporates numerous components of yoga into her practice as an innovative way to promote increased mobility, pelvic stability, and body awareness. Her goal is to bridge the gap between athletics and the world of pelvic health – educating and empowering women to reconnect with their total core (which includes the too often overlooked pelvic floor muscles and breathing diaphragm) in order to harness their optimal athletic performance and find healing from pelvic floor dysfunctions such as incontinence, prolapse, and diastasis recti. Julia is the founder of Core 4 Healing and Wellness, a fully mobile, concierge pelvic health physical therapy practice that specializes in serving prenatal and post-partum women in Chattanooga, Tennessee. When not seeking to change the world one pelvis at a time, Julia is an avid yogi, world traveler, and road runner.
